- Hello my name is Pat and my channel is Richerinyears. I am 74 years of age, 5'3" and a dress size 10-12. I love sharing with you my love of fashion, my style and Beauty tips. I hope you enjoy watching my videos and hope they give you lots of ideas and inspiration.
Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel after having had both my cataract operations. Its only been a week since having my op so still not feeling a 100% but definitely on the mend. I am so excited to get back to doing my videos and hope you feel the same. On Tuesday I got a lovely surprise my Daughter and Son-in-law who live in France came to visit me and are spending a few days here in the UK. As there is an H&M in France parts of my video will include some of the outfits listed in French. This is for the benefit of ladies who live in France and holidaymakers just visiting.
Today I am showing a few items from H&M mostly casual, easy to wear pieces, that can be worn on a daily basis or dressed up for going out. So let's get started........😎

Bonjour à tous, bienvenue sur ma chaîne après mes deux opérations de la cataracte. Cela ne fait qu'une semaine que j'ai été opérée et je ne me sens pas encore à 100 %, mais je suis définitivement en voie de guérison. Je suis très enthousiaste à l'idée de reprendre mes vidéos et j'espère qu'il en est de même pour vous. Mardi, j'ai eu une belle surprise : ma fille et mon gendre, qui vivent en France, sont venus me rendre visite et passer quelques jours au Royaume-Uni. Comme il y a un H&M en France, certaines parties de ma vidéo incluront des tenues en français. C'est pour le bénéfice des femmes qui vivent en France et des vacanciers de passage.
Aujourd'hui, je présente quelques articles de H&M, principalement des pièces décontractées et faciles à porter, qui peuvent être portées au quotidien ou habillées pour sortir. Alors commençons........😎

So glad you are on the mend, and I went to H & M yesterday in Vancouver, and bought the pink blouse but couldn't see the trousers or skirt there, sometimes we dont always stock the same. Nice ideas love the blouse.

Yes very pleased with it. I also looked at the Dior foundation you use and it looks really nice, think I will consider purchasing too.
Hi Pat. So glad you’re on the mend and your eyes have been successful. The trousers look amazing on you especially with the brown, love the silk blouse also. I’m on the fence with the skirt. Think it looks great with the high heels though. You look gorgeous in that bright pink colour. Also your skin looks radiant Pat. Could I please ask what foundation you use ? Thank you for the haul. I used to get quite a few nice things over the years but they closed our local store down and I’ve never bothered to look online for some reason.I agree with you that it’s better to actually go in and yet I shop online everywhere else 🤷🏼♀️

@patgarner8457 Just back from 2 branches of H&M 😄. Tried that lovely pink top you modelled so beautifully. Also tried it in blue but sadly it was too long and the neckline was so low all my bra was on show. The pink fitted better but it looks so much better on you. It's such a pain being so short. However, I spotted a lovely linen top in a very similar style but button through and shorter so a happy bunny. Only £12.99 - used a £3 reward voucher and got it for under £10. 👍 x

The white skirt is very nice but you can see through it even though it’s lined
You could fix that with a long slip, I guess.
Lovely linens, will probably copy you there but the long white skirt reminds me of the photo of Lady Diana in her transparent skirt. Best
wishes - had my eyes done last year and was horrified at my existing clothes, all the colours were ‘wrong’, - a nice reason to buy new.

I ordered some trousers the other day and I could easily have cut 10 inches off. Why are they making them so long?
Hi Valerie I have the same problem especially with trousers. I suppose you can alter them if they are too long but if they were too short we wouldn't be able to. 😮 Even the petite range can be too long in some of the stores. Pat❤
